One big rule is that you couldn’t have purchased gift cards in the past but you can get around it by registering a new account, signing up for a new Amazon Prime trial, and buying the cards. Also, promotional credit expires at the end of the year but good luck not spending $10 on Amazon before next week, let alone the holidays!
